At sites with substantial reserve potential, we conduct fully integrated open-pit and underground operations simultaneously. Our high-capacity machinery, autonomous loading systems and precise drilling and blasting overcome topographical challenges to extract sulphide and oxide copper ores at minimum cost and maximum efficiency.
Detailed geological modelling and geotechnical analysis extend the productive life of our sites while minimising ore losses. Led by specialist engineers, we meet tonnage and grade targets with unwavering discipline, establishing a solid engineering foundation for our copper production from the very first excavation.
Advanced Flotation Processes and Fully Integrated Plants
Extracted copper ore gains its true value in our own high-technology concentrator plants. Crushing and grinding circuits comprising large jaw crushers, SAG mills and ball mills reduce the ore to micron-scale particles. Advanced physicochemical reactions in modern froth flotation cells then transform this raw material from deep underground into copper concentrate of the highest purity.
These complex processes at the heart of our plants are controlled by SCADA and automation systems operating around the clock. Critical variables such as reagent use, pH balance and froth density are monitored in real time, while XRF and spectrometric analyses verify quality every shift. Our closed, integrated engineering infrastructure eliminates production waste and raises final product quality to the highest international standards.
Our plants protect both ore resources and the future. Water management, a critical stage of copper production, relies on recovering a high proportion of wastewater through advanced filtration.
