Reading the Earth’s Anatomy: Advanced Exploration and Drilling Capabilities
Mining success and sustainable production begin with an accurate understanding of underground geology. At Miryıldız Mining, drilling is more than making holes: it is the dependable first step in integrated plant investment, capacity planning and global production targets. Advanced technology and specialist engineers allow us to map the potential deep within the Earth with a zero-error approach.
A key requirement for world-class mining is independence in critical reserve development operations. Following this strategic vision, we perform all exploration, grade determination and production drilling ourselves, without subcontractors, using our own high-capacity equipment fleet.
Our modern drilling fleet operates continuously even in the toughest terrain, keeping production plans moving at the highest quality standards across domestic and overseas sites. This strong infrastructure, managed by our own staff, allows our technology to directly secure the operational speed and geotechnical safety of our large-scale activities.

Modern Methods, 3D Reserve Modelling and Environmental Care
At exploration and reserve development sites, we use diamond core drilling and reverse circulation techniques according to the orebody’s structure and depth, fully complying with international mining standards. From the first contact of the drill bit with the ground, our field engineers record every geological observation with exacting precision.
Core samples are sent immediately to our integrated quality control laboratories. This direct data flow between the drilling site and laboratory establishes orebody geometry and grade distribution, supports advanced 3D modelling and places underground and surface production planning on an evidence-based scientific foundation.
Miryıldız Mining’s uncompromising proactive safety culture applies to every metre drilled. While the industry’s strictest engineering controls protect our personnel, safeguarding groundwater, minimising chemical use and rehabilitating drilling areas in harmony with the ecosystem are non-negotiable commitments.
