Chairman’s Message
We come into this world for a purpose… Yes, we live once and one day we will die. That is certain. It is possible to live without taking risks, as many people choose to do, on a fixed income and without investing. But as a family, we never considered that kind of life. We have always asked ourselves, “What more can we contribute?” and consistently sought to invest and create value.
For us, exports have been more than trade: they are one of the most important ways to contribute to our country. In recent years, we have focused all our investments on exports, with mining at their heart. Wherever our country’s potential called for it—iron, copper, chromium or marble—we were there. Even in the hardest times, when prices fell and crises struck, we never stopped investing or lost hope.
I am an electrical engineer, but I have never limited my profession to my diploma. I have applied the fundamental principles of engineering to every area of life: embracing innovation, constantly calculating and seeking solutions. Whatever our field of study, our approach is about having the determination to accomplish what we truly want to do.
The success we have achieved at Miryıldız today belongs to our entire team, not just management. The support of our family and the efforts of everyone in the company, at every level, have made it possible. From our engineers to our tea service staff, from technicians to managers, everyone has a part in this story. Our role is to stand beside them, clear their path and help them grow stronger.
